Renato Esposito joined the lab to explore the brain's synaptic network through novel and fascinating tools.
Renato obtained a MSc in Medical Biotechnology. During his master’s thesis at Karolinska University Hospital (Department of Women’s and Children’s Health), Renato gained valuable skills in animal work, radiotherapy, antisense DNA technology, and neuroscience. During his last experience as a research assistant at Karolinska Institutet (Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology), Renato gained proficiency in cell and bacteria cultures, and transfection, and contributed to research in the areas of vaginal microbiome and cervical cancer.
